Express Employment Professionals has teamed up with a growing, fast-paced cardiology practice in Naples to hire a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and able to follow clinical direction while also taking initiative in a dynamic clinical environment.

The position offers a blend of both clinical and administrative responsibilities, with full cross-training provided across all functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and clinical procedures
• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Manage patient flow to ensure efficient daily operations
• Perform ECGs, and assist with Holter and event monitor placement
• Support review and coordination of event monitor diagnostic results
• Ensure patient charts are complete with labs and diagnostic results prior to visits
• Handle electronic prescription refills
• Perform accurate administrative charting and documentation in EMR
• Manage high-volume phone lines and patient triage
• Maintain strong communication with patients, providers, and team members

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a medical assistant office setting required (cardiology experience preferred)
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required
