Job Title: Laundry Attendant – Beach Resort
Pay: $16.50/hour
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hours may vary)
Availability: Monday – Sunday, including weekends and holidays

 

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join our Ft Myers Beach resort team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all linens, towels, and laundry items are cleaned, organized, and ready to support daily resort operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains high cleanliness standards, and takes pride in supporting an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and folding equipment efficiently and safely
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and uniforms
• Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues
• Maintain a consistent supply of clean linens for housekeeping and guest needs
• Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures
• Keep laundry area clean, organized, and compliant with health standards
• Assist with inventory tracking and restocking of supplies
• Support housekeeping team as needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry up to 30–50 lbs for extended periods
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
