Quality Lab Technician — Maryland Heights, MO

About the Role
This Quality Lab Technician role supports a food manufacturing operation in Maryland Heights, Missouri, performing quality testing, inspections, and documentation to ensure finished goods and incoming ingredients meet established specifications. This position works closely with plant operations, quality systems, and environmental programs on a second-shift schedule.

• Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

What You'll Be Doing

• Participate in daily plant inspections and internal process audits
• Perform sensory, analytical, chemical, microbiological, and physical testing on finished goods and incoming ingredients
• Maintain the Environmental Monitoring Program through swab testing and internal communication of results
• Identify, investigate, and document non-conforming lots; evaluate data and support corrective actions
• Assist with complaint investigations and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform equipment calibrations and routine maintenance per established procedures

To Be Considered, You Must Meet the Following:

• Direct experience in a quality technician, lab technician, or food manufacturing quality role
• Associate’s degree or certification in a science-related field or 1–2 years of experience in a food manufacturing facility or laboratory
• Strong resume longevity and proven work stability
• Strong administrative skills with the ability to document and communicate findings clearly
• Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed specifications and work instructions
• Experience with warehouse or quality environments is required; lab-specific testing will be trained
