Duties
● Conduct thorough testing and inspection of fire hoses, valves, couplings, and
related components to ensure compliance with safety standards and
manufacturer specifications.
● Perform repairs and maintenance on fire hoses, including replacing damaged
sections, fittings, or seals using hand tools and power tools.
● Utilize construction inspection techniques to assess the installation quality of fire
protection equipment during system upgrades or new installations.
● Maintain detailed records of testing results, repairs performed, parts used, and
system status in compliance with safety regulations.
Skills
● Strong mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools, power tools,
and specialized firefighting equipment.
● Knowledge of construction inspection procedures for fire protection systems and
familiarity with building codes such as NEC standards.
● Service experience working directly on-site with fire suppression systems in
commercial or industrial environments.
● Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to communicate
