Inventory Clerk

Express Employment on 61st and Center is currently recruiting for an Inventory Clerk for a role in Omaha, NE!

Position Details:
•    Type: Evaluation Hire
•    Schedule: 7:30am-4:30pm, M-F
•    Location: Omaha, NE
•    Pay/Salary: $20-$25

Job Duties:
•    Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure order accuracy and completeness.
•    Maintain precise inventory records using electronic inventory systems, including tracking stock levels, issuing purchase orders, and performing routine cycle counts.
•    Work with procurement teams to source parts from approved suppliers, including negotiating pricing and terms when needed.
•    Coordinate with internal departments and outside vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts, components, and materials.
•    Prepare parts kits and assemblies for scheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure all components are available when needed.
•    Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
•    Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to oversee inventory across multiple locations. 
•    Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work independently or collaboratively. 
•    High attention to detail with proven data entry and typing accuracy. 
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; familiarity with additional inventory or logistics software is a plus. 
•    Prior experience in Inventory Control or Logistics, preferably within the maritime or transportation industry.
