Monday through Friday – 8am to 4:30pm

$21hr to $25hr depending on experience

 

A trusted seed supplier in the USA, providing regionally adapted, rigorously tested seed solutions rooted in stewardship, suppling everyone from golf courses to sports fields, to residential customers is seeking a Delivery Driver to join their team in Sun Valley.

 

Summary: The delivery driver transports goods, packages, or seed from the warehouse to centers, warehouses, or retail locations to residential or commercial customers. Key responsibilities include loading/unloading vehicles, following designated routes efficiently, ensuring on-time delivery, adhering to traffic laws, conducting vehicle inspections, and providing customer service, requiring a valid license and clean driving record.

 

Responsibilities:

• Transport goods and supplies to customers in Los Angeles County, San Bernardino County, San Diego County and other adjacent Counties and ensure delivery of goods and supplies in a safely manner.
• Responsible for picking, packing, receiving and shipping customer orders. Warehouse stocking, inventory checking, and other warehouse duties.
• Loading/unloading vehicles
• Following designated routes efficiently, adhering to traffic laws.
• Perform basic vehicle check before departing for deliveries from warehouse.
• Follow mandatory procedures to ensure that work is carried out to the required quality standards and/or to ensure adherence to external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct.
• Adhere to the organization's Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) policies, procedures and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to oneself and others in the workplace.
• Develop and maintain excellent skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.

 

Qualifications:

• Need to be able to speak fluent English, read and write.
• Class C California drivers License      
• Clean Driving Record (must bring copy from DMV for interview)
• Must be comfortable working in a dusty environment.
• Must be able to regularly lift to 55 pounds.
• Must be able to Navigate through Freeways with GPS or Map.
• Work in a fast-paced environment   
• Read delivery orders to determine how to transport it and if a pallet is needed.
