Grinder Operator – Welding Department (2nd Shift)

 

Shift: 2nd Shift | 1:15 PM – 9:45 PM (Overtime as needed)

Pay: $17-$17.50 DOE (Depending on Experience)

 

Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Grinder Operator to join our welding department. This position is responsible for grinding, smoothing, and finishing metal surfaces to meet quality standards. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced, hot environment and can maintain attention to detail throughout the shift.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Grind and smooth metal parts using hand and power tools
• Remove excess material, weld splatter, and imperfections
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work closely with the welding team to meet production goals

Requirements:

• Previous grinder or manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to work in a hot environment for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Dependable and able to work overtime as needed
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
