Public Area Attendant 

A Public Area Attendant is responsible for keeping all guest-accessible areas clean, safe, and presentable during the morning shift, helping create a positive first impression for guests.

?? Core Responsibilities

• Clean public spaces
  • Lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, pool areas, and entrances
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces regularly
• Restroom maintenance
  • Sanitize toilets, sinks, and mirrors
  • Refill soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Trash & waste management
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners
  • Clean and sanitize garbage containers
• Surface & furniture care
  • Polish furniture, clean glass, mirrors, and fixtures
  • Report damage like stains, tears, or broken items
• Floor care
  • Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors using proper cleaning equipment

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience (helpful but not always required)
• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Good communication and customer service skills
• English and/or spanish required for the role
