Commercial Carpenter

Located in Grants Pass, OR

Salary: 25-30/hr

We are seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters to support a large-scale renovation of a multi-unit apartment complex. This role involves working on occupied and vacant units, completing high-quality finish and rough carpentry while maintaining safety, efficiency, and professionalism in an active job site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rough and finish carpentry in apartment units and common areas
• Install framing, blocking, doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and fixtures
• Complete unit turns and remodel scopes, including kitchens, bathrooms, and interiors
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision
• Work alongside other trades (plumbing, electrical, drywall, etc.) to meet project timelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, especially in occupied units
• Identify and report job site issues or material needs to supervisors
• Ensure work meets quality standards, building codes, and project specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial or residential carpentry experience (multi-family remodel preferred)
• Strong skills in both rough and finish carpentry
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Experience working in occupied spaces is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and tape measure accurately
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Work Schedule

• Full-time, typically Monday–Friday (some overtime may be required based on project needs)
