Our client is a leading supplier of high-quality steel located in the City of Hamilton at the western end of Lake Ontario on the St. Lawrence Seaway. We are currently seeking Part-Time Trainers to support onboarding and training initiatives for new contractor employees at our client’s site.

Here is What You Will Be Doing

We are looking for an engaging and organized individual to deliver onboarding and training programs for new contractor employees. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all new hires are properly trained, orientated, and prepared to safely and effectively work on-site.

Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver onboarding training sessions for new contractor employees
• Facilitate classroom-style training
• Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are clearly communicated
• Track and document training completion and attendance
• Maintain an organized and structured training environment

Are You Qualified?

• Previous experience in training, onboarding, or instructional roles preferred
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is considered an asset
• Strong understanding of workplace safety practices (knowledge of Ontario Health & Safety Act is an asset)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Comfortable working with diverse groups of people
• Ability to adapt training style to different learning needs

Schedule & Pay

• Part-time, daytime hours
