Express Healthcare Staffing is hiring General Pharmacy Technicians, Batch Recon Technicians, Non Sterile and Sterile Technicians to support pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for candidates with pharmacy experience who are detail-oriented and comfortable working in both sterile and non-sterile settings.

Job Highlights

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescriptions
• Perform labeling, inspection, and preparation of compounded medications
• Maintain accurate inventory and properly store medications and supplies
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient information
• Clean and maintain pharmacy areas, including sterile and non-sterile compounding labs
• Operate equipment such as autoclaves and dry heat ovens as directed
• Monitor expiration dates and beyond-use dates (BUDs)
• Answer and direct phone calls and support internal departments as needed
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and complete required training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience preferred, 6 months required
• CPhT certification preferred
• Must meet state pharmacy registration requirements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work in a pharmacy setting with exposure to chemicals and sterile environments
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Required to wear PPE/gowning and follow strict cleanliness standards
• Must remove jewelry, nail polish, and cosmetics when working in sterile areas
