Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: Starting at $20/hr (based on experience)
Overtime: Occasional Saturdays

 

Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Agriculture / Chemical Plant Operator to support plant and warehouse operations for a leading agricultural facility in Grand Forks, ND. This role is responsible for handling raw materials, operating production equipment, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. This is a seasonal opportunity with potential for long-term placement based on performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload raw materials and finished products from trucks and railcars
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely
• Perform daily inventory checks and report discrepancies
• Operate production equipment including pumps, blenders, reactors, and scales
• Monitor charts, meters, and gauges to ensure accurate production
• Collect, label, and deliver product samples for testing
• Package and label materials according to company and regulatory standards
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report concerns
• Assist in completing production batches per instructions
• Maintain proper documentation and communicate daily activities
• Support other departments, including maintenance, as needed
• Ensure facility cleanliness and follow all safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience preferred
• Previous experience in agriculture, manufacturing, or chemical processing is a plus
• Forklift experience required or willingness to be trained
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work in a moderately loud environment
