CNC Machinist

Salary: $30-$40/hr DOE

We are seeking a CNC Machinist for a manufacturing company in Leominster. This role will operate and program CNC and shop equipment to manufacture and refurbish precision parts, while ensuring quality, safety, and on-time production. This is a Direct Hire position.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain production schedules to support on-time delivery
• Program and operate CNC equipment to manufacture custom parts
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and tolerances to ensure accurate production
• Follow established procedures and communicate effectively with management to meet quality standards
• Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure proper machine guarding at all times
• Track and report work order progress, including quantities produced
• Operate a variety of equipment across multiple stages of the production process
• Cross-train in machining and assembly functions within the department
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality
• Perform additional duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or machining environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• High attention to detail with a focus on safety and precision

This is a Direct Hire position. The hours are flexible within the schedule of Mon-Fri 7AM-4PM. The pay range is $30-$40/hr DOE.
