Key Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, record patient histories, and assist with basic physical assessments under the supervision of an RN or physician
• Administer prescribed medications and injections, monitor for side effects, and document all treatments accurately
• Assist with minor procedures, including wound care, specimen collection, immunizations, and dressing changes
• Educate patients on medications, treatments, and follow-up care to reinforce provider instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and healthcare team members

Qualifications

• Active Mississippi LPN License
• Minimum 6 months of LPN experience (clinic, outpatient, or similar setting preferred)
• Current BLS certification (hands-on)
• Current TB test
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
