Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Inventory Control Specialist for a leading industrial supplier in the Flathead Valley.
If you’re organized, self‑motivated, and enjoy a mix of warehouse, customer service, and inventory management work, this role offers stability, independence, and room to grow.

Position: Inventory Control Specialist

Pay: $21/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (occasional OT, up to 7:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Location: Flathead Valley + local travel

What You’ll Do

  • Manage on‑site inventory including stocking, ordering, and organization
  • Unpack shipments, verify accuracy, and store materials properly
  • Maintain stock levels and generate replenishment orders
  • Coordinate with customers for order approvals when needed
  • Process returns (RMA) and resolve product or service issues
  • Keep inventory areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Use company systems for tracking, ordering, and reporting
  • Communicate with customer site contacts to ensure smooth operations

What You Bring

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office, inventory/ERP systems)
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Clear communication and customer service skills
  • Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently

Experience

  • 3–5 years in inventory, warehouse, assembly, or related work
  • 3+ years in a leadership or independent role
  • Lean manufacturing experience preferred
  • ERP system experience preferred

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the day
  • Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (or more with equipment)
  • Good vision for reading labels, colors, and measurements
  • Manual dexterity for computer and equipment use

  • Standard warehouse tools and equipment
  • Company vehicle for local travel

Travel

  • Local travel between Applied Materials locations
  • Mileage reimbursed at $0.49/mile
  • Monthly $50 cell phone allowance
