We are working with a well-known hospitality and event venue in Sarasota that is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to support high-volume event operations.

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 25–30 hours per week (Sundays required)
Compensation: $20/hour
Assignment Type: Seasonal role with potential for longer-term opportunity based on performance and business needs

Position Summary:

The Assistant Manager will support hospitality and bar operations during large-scale weekly events, helping ensure a smooth, high-quality guest experience. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in high-volume hospitality who is comfortable leading staff, managing operations, and working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise bartenders and bar support staff during events
  • Oversee bar operations to ensure efficient and high-quality service
  • Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
  • Assist with staff scheduling and coordination
  • Reconcile POS reports and assist with closing procedures
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and guest-focused environment
  • Support light administrative tasks during the week as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or supervisory roles
    (restaurant, bar, hotel, or event environment preferred)
  • Experience working in high-volume settings
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Ability to stay organized and perform under pressure
  • Flexible availability, including Sundays
