Position Overview

The Pipe Machine Operator specializes in commercial duct pipe fabrication as part of our sheet metal production team. This role is responsible for operating roll forming and pipe rolling machinery to produce high-quality ductwork components while supporting overall shop workflow and production goals.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate roll forming, pipe rolling, and related fabrication equipment.
• Produce commercial duct pipe according to job specifications and quality standards.
• Perform tasks requiring consistent standing, movement, and hands-on machine operation throughout the shift.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any mechanical or production issues to supervision.
• Assist other departments as needed to ensure smooth workflow and timely production completion.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds frequently.
• Must be able to stand and work on feet for up to 10 hours per day.
• Capable of performing repetitive motion and continuous movement in a production environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous machine operator or manufacturing equipment experience required.
• Experience in sheet metal, ductwork, or pipe fabrication is strongly preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow production instructions.
