Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Clerk with experience in warehouse inventory control, auditing, and quality assurance. In this role, you will audit outbound store orders, ensure inventory accuracy, and support the Inventory Control Team in identifying and correcting discrepancies.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining 100% order accuracy, warehouse quality standards, and inventory integrity. The Quality Assurance Clerk reports directly to the Inventory Control Manager.


Key Responsibilities

  • Break down, audit, and reassemble freight on outbound pallets prior to load dispatch
  • Record and report errors identified during the audit process
  • Correct discrepancies to ensure 100% accuracy on audited pallets
  • Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring inventory errors
  • Partner with warehouse leadership and personnel to address audit findings
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile with system-generated reports
  • Assist in moving outbound pallets and inventory to complete audits and corrective actions
  • Perform clerical duties including data entry and issue resolution
  • Train, guide, or support employees, interns, or volunteers as needed
  • Operate warehouse equipment including:
    • Order picker (cherry picker lift)
    • Sit-down forklift
    • Stand-up forklift
    • Pallet jack
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications (About You)

  • 1–2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse auditing, quality assurance, or related field preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Strong decision-making skills with limited information
  • Ability to interpret written, verbal, diagram, or schedule-based instructions
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Results-driven mindset with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement
  • Resourceful, proactive, and accountable with a sense of ownership

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Repetitive movements during product inspection
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to identify defects and maintain focus throughout a warehouse shift
