Express Employment Professionals is hiring Production Workers, Packaging Associates, Assembly Workers, and General Laborers for Gellert Global Group (formerly Barron County Cheese) in Almena & Barron, WI.

What You’ll Do (Production / Packaging / Assembly Work)
  • Work on production lines, manufacturing lines, and packaging lines
  • Package, label, inspect, and box cheese products
  • Perform assembly, rework, trimming, loading/unloading
  • Use hand tools, pallet jacks, and basic production equipment
  • Maintain clean, safe work areas (GMP / food safety standards)
  • Rotate between stations depending on production needs
What We’re Looking For (No Experience Needed)
  • Reliable attendance (this is HUGE)
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to follow instructions (English or Spanish)
  • Comfortable with factory / manufacturing / production work pace
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Willing to work in cooler temperatures (35–50°F)
Work Environment
  • Food manufacturing / cheese production facility
  • Mix of production floor, warehouse, and packaging areas
  • Some warmer zones (processing), some cooler zones (storage)
  • Clean, structured, team-based environment
  • PPE provided (hairnet, gloves, smock, etc.)
Pay & Schedule
  • 1st Shift: $16.50/hr
  • 2nd Shift: $18.00/hr
  • 3rd Shift: $18.50/hr
  • Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • Overtime available (often voluntary)
Physical Requirements
  • Stand/walk entire shift (8 hours on concrete)
  • Lift 40–50 lbs regularly, push/pull 75+ lbs occasionally
  • Repetitive movements (grip, reach, bend, twist)
  • Work in cooler temps
  • Follow food safety dress code (no jewelry, nails, etc.)
