Diesel Mechanic

Location: Pine Bluff, AR
Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Overtime as needed

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join a busy and fast-paced work environment in Pine Bluff. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on diesel engines and equipment
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, brake inspections, and filter replacements
• Repair or replace defective parts such as engines, transmissions, and fuel systems
• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Assist with additional shop duties as needed

Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a diesel mechanic or in a related field
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics
• Experience with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dependable with strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment
