Preventative Maintenance Supervisor – Chemical & Packaging Equipment

Shift: 3rd Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay: Starting at $30/hour to $35.00/hour , pending experience 

Position Summary  

Preventative Maintenance Supervisor – Chemical & Packaging Equipment

Responsible for keeping chemical processing and packaging equipment running safely and efficiently. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, and fabrication needs. Oversees maintenance activities during third shift and provides leadership to the maintenance team to ensure equipment reliability and leak-free operations.

Key Responsibilities  

Preventative Maintenance Supervisor – Chemical & Packaging Equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance on chemical processing and packaging equipment
• Inspect equipment and production areas to identify leaks, wear, or potential failures
• Maintain and replace packaging components at the end of production lines
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete light electrical maintenance, including sensors, motors, and basic controls
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore operations quickly and safely
• Conduct routine walk-throughs to ensure systems are operating properly and safely
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Supervise and guide maintenance team members during shift
• Lead by example with strong safety and maintenance practices

Qualifications  

Preventative Maintenance Supervisor – Chemical & Packaging Equipment

• Strong mechanical and electrical background
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in maintenance
• Familiarity with chemical processing or industrial manufacturing environments
• Ability to work independently on overnight shifts

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to walk production areas regularly
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and work around industrial equipment
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
