Service Writer

Located in Poplar Bluff, MO

Salary: $15.00 Hr(Based on Experience)

SERVICE WRITER 

 

Local dealership looking for an experienced service writer.  

Mon-Friday including some Saturdays.  

 

Duties & Responsibilities:   

• Communicate with customers to understand their vehicle problems and needs. 
• Write repair orders, describing the vehicle's condition and the repairs or services required. 
• Estimate costs and time required for repair or maintenance work.  
• Schedule appointments for vehicle inspections, tests, and repairs. 
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of work. 
• Explain the work performed and the charges to the customer
• Manage and file necessary paperwork and records. 
• Update customers on the status of their vehicles and any changes to cost or timeline. 
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.
