Job Title: Welder Fabricator

Job Summary:
The Welder Fabricator is responsible for welding and fabricating metal components in accordance with company and customer specifications. This role supports production operations by ensuring that all work meets established quality standards and is completed within required timeframes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on materials ranging from thin gauge to heavy plate
• Fabricate and manufacture metal parts for assembly
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accuracy of work
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Grind, finish, and inspect components to verify quality standards are met
• Maintain organization of work area and materials
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status and issues
• Complete assigned tasks within established deadlines

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• Work is performed in a weld shop environment
• Regular standing, crouching, and movement throughout the shift
• Ability to position welding equipment as required for the work being performed
• Ability to lift and handle heavy materials or equipment as needed
• Exposure to hot, cold, and physically demanding conditions

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior welding experience, preferably one year or more
• Working knowledge of MIG welding, metal fabrication, grinding, and finishing processes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet production deadlines
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
