Role Overview

Express Employment in River Falls, Wisconsin, is recruiting movers for a client based in Woodville, Wisconsin! Movers handle the packing, loading, transporting, and unloading of household or business items while ensuring safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service. The role blends physical labor with problem‑solving and communication.

Hours

Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm)

Pay

$20/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload items safely onto trucks, using proper lifting techniques and equipment.

• Pack and wrap furniture and fragile items to prevent damage during transport.

• Disassemble and reassemble furniture, appliances, and office equipment as needed.

• Operate moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, straps, and blankets.

• Secure cargo inside the truck to ensure safe transport.

• Assist with driving or navigating routes (if licensed and assigned).

• Communicate with customers to understand needs, answer questions, and provide updates.

• Inspect items and property for pre‑existing damage and document as required.

• Maintain a clean and organized truck, tools, and workspace.

• Follow safety protocols to prevent injuries and property damage.

• Work collaboratively with other crew members to complete moves efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Basic problem‑solving abilities (e.g., navigating tight spaces, protecting delicate items).

• Reliable time management and punctuality.

• Professional and courteous customer service demeanor.

• Valid driver’s license (if driving responsibilities are included).

• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing job conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in moving, warehouse, delivery, or general labor roles.

• Familiarity with moving equipment and safe lifting techniques.

• Commercial driver’s license (CDL) for roles involving larger trucks.
