Our client has been providing stable employment opportunities for over 30 years and is a trusted leader in hazardous waste management and transportation services. They are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused AZ Truck Driver to join their growing team.

 

About the Role

As an AZ Driver, you will operate well-maintained trucks to transport hazardous and industrial waste materials to and from client sites. This role involves local and cross-border driving (Detroit and Pennsylvania routes), with occasional overnight layovers (1–2 nights per week).

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate AZ trucks to transport hazardous and industrial waste in compliance with all regulations.
• Prepare waste inventory for secure transportation.
• Accurately complete required documentation including Bill of Lading and Ontario Waste Manifest.
• Label, inspect, and ensure quality control of goods loaded for transport.
• Operate specialized equipment such as Vac-Tankers, dump trailers, B-trains, and shell tankers.
• Perform physical duties including climbing in/out of trucks and moving loaded pallet trucks short distances.
• Follow all company, DOT, and cross-border safety and compliance standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years of AZ driving experience (Vac truck experience is an asset).
• Experience hauling dangerous goods / hazardous loads.
• Proficiency with both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Must be bondable and hold a valid FAST Card (or be eligible to obtain one).
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow all transport regulations.
• Physically fit to handle occasional manual labour associated with the role.
