Our Client is looking for a Construction Accounting Manager to join their team in Morgan Hill Ca.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable specific to construction projects, including coding and entering invoices and managing vendor payments.
• Assist with preparation and reconciliation of project budgets, job cost reports, and supporting schedules.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes related to vendors and subcontractors.
• Monitor and reconcile job costs, ensuring accurate allocation of expenses to individual projects.
• Administer payroll, including prevailing wage compliance and certified payroll reporting.
• Track progress billings, retainage, and change orders; process invoice payments timely and accurately.
• Collaborate with project managers and estimators to deliver timely financial insight and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction accounting, accounts payable/receivable, or general bookkeeping preferred.
• Associate degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency with construction accounting software (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

This is a Contract to Hire 

Monday - Friday 

8:30am - 5:00pm

Pay Rate Range based off experience $35.00-$44.00 HR
