Inventory Control Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to support accurate inventory management across our ERP and 3PL systems. This role is essential to maintaining alignment between physical inventory and system records, ensuring timely reconciliation, and supporting operational efficiency during month-end close. You’ll work closely with both office and warehouse teams and handle a mix of data-focused tasks and on-floor inventory verification.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts to verify accuracy of physical and system records

  • Process and reconcile ERP inventory transactions and 3PL movements

  • Analyze discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions

  • Complete month-end inventory closures and support billing accuracy

  • Maintain clear documentation and reporting for all inventory activities

  • Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure efficient inventory flow

 

Performance Expectations

  • Maintain accurate inventory records aligned with physical counts

  • Reconcile discrepancies and complete month-end close in a timely manner

  • Process inventory movements and billing efficiently and accurately

  • Produce clear, organized documentation and reports

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in inventory control, reconciliation, or related operational roles

  • Familiarity with ERP systems in operations or supply chain environments

  • Strong data analysis and problem‑solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Background in logistics or supply chain processes is a plus
