Counter Sales / Warehouse Associate (HVAC Supply)

We’re partnering with a well-established HVAC supply company that keeps contractors and businesses running. In this role, you’ll be the go-to person at the counter—helping customers find the right parts, keeping inventory moving, and making sure every order is accurate and on time.

If you like fast-paced days, practical work, and being the person who “knows their stuff,” you’ll fit right in.

Hours:  Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM

Pay range:  $14 - $17/Hour

What You’ll Be Doing

• Greet customers professionally and provide knowledgeable, friendly service
• Answer phones and assist with product inquiries, orders, and problem-solving
• Process orders, invoicing, returns, credits, and product lookups using computer systems
• Suggest additional or substitute products to meet customer needs
• Load/unload trucks and assist customers with materials using proper equipment
• Receive, stock, and organize inventory in the warehouse
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace (inside and out)
• Assist with occasional deliveries as needed
• Participate in after-hours emergency call rotation
• Follow through on customer requests and commitments

What Makes a Great Candidate for Counter Sales Associates

• Customer-focused with strong communication skills
• Comfortable working both at a sales counter and in a warehouse environment
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stay active throughout the day
• Detail-oriented with basic computer skills (invoicing, order entry, etc.)
• Team player who can take direction and work under pressure
• Mechanical aptitude or experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or industrial supply preferred
• Forklift experience (or willingness to learn)
• Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic
• Willingness to learn product lines and grow industry knowledge

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in HVAC parts sales, counter sales, or wholesale distribution
• Familiarity with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems
• Exposure to vendor catalogs, product cross-referencing, or technical specs
