Our client in Des Moines, IA is looking for an Auto Body Technician!

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to repair and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. This role involves performing structural and cosmetic repairs, including bodywork, panel replacement, and refinishing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with collision repair, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect damaged vehicles and assess repair needs
• Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame alignment
• Sand, prep, and refinish vehicle surfaces for painting
• Use hand and power tools to complete repairs efficiently
• Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Communicate with team members and management regarding repair status
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:
• Previous auto body or collision repair experience required
• Knowledge of body repair tools, techniques, and materials
• Experience with sanding, prepping, and refinishing preferred
• Ability to read and follow repair estimates or work orders
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license required

Hours:
Full-time; typical daytime hours with potential overtime

Pay:
$20.00–$30.00/hour DOE
