Salary: $22/hr-$27/hr

We are seeking a precision-focused Press Brake Operator to handle complex forming and bending operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Select and set up all tools, equipment, and machines based on production specs and blueprints.
• Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, height gauges, protractors, and steel rulers.
• Create and load machine programs; complete reference sheets for complicated parts.
• Adjust RAM speeds and machine tooling to bring non-conforming parts into specification.
• Account for material deflection, spring back, and how different metals react to forming.
• Manage load thickness, bend tolerances, and compound tolerances for every job.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks (cleaning tools, machine oiling, and fluid checks).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the work center independently to meet efficiency and PPM standards.
• Cross-train in multiple workstations and retain technical knowledge for various jobs.

Requirements & Skills

• 2+ years of related experience in metal forming preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret complex blueprints
• Knowledge of basic business math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Deep understanding of the forming process and its effects on downstream operations.
• Ability to work without supervision and maintain high-quality production standards.
• Commitment to "Safety First" and the ability to interpret safety rules and memos.
