We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join a busy office during tax season, with the opportunity to transition into a steady long-term schedule.

Schedule:

• Now through mid-April (tax season): Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• After tax season: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain and update employee records
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies
• Assist with tax-related payroll tasks during peak season
• Utilize accounting and payroll software systems daily

Qualifications:

• Experience with QuickBooks required
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle a fast-paced workload, especially during tax season
• Drake software experience is a plus
