Dock Worker

Located in Itasca, IL

Salary: $18/hr-$20/hr

A busy distribution center in Itasca is looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented Dock Worker to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, moves fast, and takes pride in handling high-quality products with care.

The Role

You will be responsible for the movement and protection of furniture throughout the facility

• Wrap and handle furniture to prevent damage during transport

• Move carts holding furniture to and from the racks and dock areas

• Push furniture off carts onto racks and pull furniture from racks back onto carts

• Document all removals and inventory movements accurately

• Perform basic computer work to track shipments and locations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry moderate to heavy furniture for an 8-hour shift

• Must be comfortable standing for long periods and staying physically active

• Strong attention to detail to ensure furniture is handled safely and carefully

• A positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Prior forklift experience is a plus, but not required (full training will be provided)
