Door-to-Door Sales Representative (Landscaping Services)

Our client in Des Moines, IA is looking for a Door-to-Door Sales Representative!

Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Door-to-Door Sales Representative to promote and sell landscaping services to residential and commercial clients. This role involves canvassing neighborhoods, generating leads, building customer relationships, and closing sales. The ideal candidate is confident, self-driven, and comfortable working outdoors and engaging with potential customers face-to-face.

Key Responsibilities:
• Canvass assigned neighborhoods to identify and approach potential customers
• Present and explain landscaping services (lawn care, maintenance, design, seasonal cleanup)
• Generate leads and schedule estimates or consultations
• Build rapport with homeowners and property managers
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
• Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and sales activity
• Represent the company professionally and positively at all times
• Follow up with prospective customers to close sales

Qualifications:
• Previous sales experience preferred (door-to-door or direct sales is a plus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
• Ability to handle rejection and remain persistent
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation (if required for territory coverage)
• Basic knowledge of landscaping services is a plus, but not required

Hours:
Flexible scheduling; hours may vary based on territory and sales needs

Pay:
Base pay plus commission (or commission-only, depending on structure)
