Job Overview
Responsible for performing in-process inspections in both production and warehouse areas to ensure product quality and compliance with customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders to determine inspection requirements.

• Inspect foil liners to ensure proper seals.

• Verify bagged products for correct weight, bag type, and pallet configuration.

• Inspect and properly seal drums according to customer specifications.

• Perform and document customer-required inspections.

• Safely operate a forklift to transport materials without causing damage.

• Support the Quality Manager with non-conformance investigations and corrective actions, including:

  • Incident reports

  • Freight damage

  • Incoming product quality issues

  • Customer complaint investigations

• Coordinate with the Materials Department to locate items requiring quality control inspection.

Knowledge Requirements

• Understanding of raw materials, production processes, and quality control procedures.

• Familiarity with machines, tools, and their proper use and maintenance.

• Knowledge of company safety policies and procedures.

Skill Requirements

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills.

• Ability to safely operate a forklift and related equipment.

• Capable of working independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.

• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Manual dexterity to handle and manipulate materials and objects.

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 55 lbs.

• Stamina to use core muscles continuously over extended periods.

• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and reach as required for the role.
