Lead Production Worker

Express Employment Professionals Athens, TX is seeking applicants for a Line Lead position! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in Athens, TX that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will:

• Assist the production team to ensure efficient and continuous equipment operation
• Monitor fabric throughout the finishing process to ensure consistent application of finishes and backings
• Maintain proper machine settings, including temperature and speed, for optimal results
• Replenish supplies such as finishing chemicals, adhesives, and other materials as needed
• Inspect fabric during processing for quality issues or equipment malfunctions and make necessary adjustments
• Coordinate with team members to maintain steady workflow and resolve production issues
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance to keep equipment and work areas in top condition
• Support maintenance staff with equipment repairs and testing when needed
• Troubleshoot minor equipment or production issues and report concerns to supervisors
• Follow all safety procedures when handling materials and operating machinery
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; report any facility issues promptly
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management
