Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Box Truck Driver to join our moving company team. This role involves operating a box truck to transport household and commercial goods, assisting with loading and unloading, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout each move.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a box truck to transport furniture and other items to designated locations
- Load and unload items with care to prevent damage
- Secure cargo properly for safe transportation
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery and inventory documentation
- Provide excellent customer service during all interactions
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Previous box truck or moving experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy items (50–100 lbs) repeatedly
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication and customer service skills
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced, physically demanding role
