Project Manager - Waste/Water Engineer

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000

Specialized Recruiting Group is hiring for a full time Water/Wastewater Project Engineer on a full-time, direct basis in Newark, NJ Our client is an ENR Top 500 consulting engineering firm founded more than five decades ago. Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare engineering designs, technical specifications, and construction documents for water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and treatment facilities
• Perform hydraulic and hydrologic modeling to evaluate and optimize system performance and capacity
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including coordination of environmental permitting requirements
• Support municipalities and utility clients with NJDEP compliance initiatives related to drinking water and wastewater regulations, reporting, and infrastructure planning

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in water/wastewater engineering, including design and project coordination
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling software such as EPANET, WaterCAD, and SewerGEMS
