Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianPay: $25/hrSchedule:35 hours/week | Monday Friday | Starting at 8:00 AM at first jobLocation:Residential and commercial properties across SC (Lexington, Columbia, Blythewood, etc.)Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs for residential homes, apartments, and townhomes. This role requires hands-on problem-solving, the ability to troubleshoot issues independently, and the capability to complete multiple jobs daily. The ideal candidate will have strong plumbing experience along with general maintenance skills.Responsibilities:Plumbing- Replace toilets- Unclog drains- Snake septic lines- Change shower diverters- replacing drain lines outdoors- using camera and drain cleanersElectrical:- Replace light fixtures- Replace outlets and switches- Perform other basic electrical tasksOther Repairs- Drywall repair (holes, cracks)- Flooring installation and repair- Fence repair and minor carpentry tasksDaily Operations- Complete an average of 3 jobs per day- Use the Jobber app for work orders, job locations, notes, and photos- Pick up materials as needed (purchase orders required)- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency after-hours maintenance after hireTransportation:- Company truck provided (equipped with cameras, no audio)- May drive own vehicle during probation period (gas reimbursed)Requirements:- 2+ years of plumbing experience required- Experience in one or more of the following areas: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, flooring, or general maintenance- Ability to troubleshoot problems independently- Own basic hand tools (specialty tools available from office)- Ability to shop for and purchase materials on-site when needed- Presentable appearance for entering customer homesDress Code:- Work boots or tennis shoes- Jeans or work pants- Company-provided t-shirtQualifications & Checks:- Drug Screen: Yes- Background Check: Yes (no theft, violent crimes, or DUI)- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR): Yes, parameters TBDAPPLY TODAY!!!
