Landscaping Equipment Operator (Trimmer & Zero Turn)

Pay: $20 - $22 per hour
Location: Fort Jackson Military Facility (based out of Lexington, SC)

Schedule:
Monday Thursday: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
Additional hours (1020+ hours weekly) at other commercial job sites
Typical work week: 4045 hours
Occasional overtime available


Position Summary:
We are seeking dependable and safety-minded individuals to join our landscaping team as Equipment Operators. This role involves operating both trimming equipment and zero turn mowers to maintain large turf areas and detailed landscape spaces. Work is primarily performed at a military facility, requiring professionalism, reliability, and adherence to strict safety and conduct standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate trimmers, weed eaters, and zero turn mowers to maintain landscape areas
- Cut, edge, and maintain grass in both large open areas and tight spaces
- Navigate safely around obstacles while ensuring high-quality, clean results
- Perform general landscaping duties as assigned by supervisors
- Maintain professional conduct, punctuality, and reliability
- Follow all safety guidelines and military facility standards
- Use basic timekeeping systems to track hours worked
- Assist team members to ensure efficient completion of daily tasks


Work Environment:
- Outdoor, physically demanding work in varying weather conditions
- Exposure to heat, dust, grass clippings, and debris
- Military facility environment requiring discipline and adherence to rules
- Repetitive physical tasks including bending, lifting, and prolonged equipment use


Training:
- On-the-job training provided
- New hires will be paired with experienced team members during onboarding


Qualifications:
- Experience operating landscaping equipment preferred (zero turn mower experience required for mower operation)
- Ability to work independently and maintain productivity
- Strong work ethic and professional attitude
- Ability to perform physical labor safely and consistently

- Must have a CLEAN background due to working on Military base
