Contract Adminsitrator

Key Responsibilities:
•Assist superintendents and project manager.
•Assist project manager with owner contracts.
•Distribute and process owner proposal requests.
•Subcontract preparation and maintenance.
•Assist with insurance and bonding requirements.
•Track and monitor subcontractor insurance.
•Submission, recording, and monitoring of project permits.
•Change orders for owners and subcontractors – preparing, tracking, and filing.
•Securing and tracking physical and electronic documents pertaining to the construction project in commonly accessible locations.
•Establish utilities and coordinate other job start-up tasks for new project job sites.
•Preparation and distribution of close-out documents; Track, monitor, and distribute punch lists.
•Apply knowledge of contracting concepts to follow and enforce company and client requirements.
•Typing and forwarding project meeting notes.
•Coordinate closely with all parties involved – project accountants, superintendents, project managers, subs, suppliers, owners, architects, engineers, county and town.
•Perform other duties as needed.
Education and Experience:
•3+ years contract related experience; advanced degree or contract certification program may substitute for years of experience
Required Skills:
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Detail-oriented
•Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to work independently
•Strong organizational skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office software
Preferred Skills:
•Ability to interpret construction schedules
•Proficient with Sage, Procore, or other construction management software
