Express Employment is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a growing manufacturing facility in Rochester, Michigan. This is a 1st shift, full-time opportunity focused on maintaining and troubleshooting machines and equipment used in the production process and upkeep of the facility. Strong troubleshooting and repair experience is required.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor production equipment to ensure safe operating conditions using preventive and predictive maintenance methods.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure consistent equipment performance
• Support production team by responding to equipment failures and minimizing downtime
• Assist in installation of new production equipment.
• Document maintenance activities and follow internal repair procedures
• Perform tool setups / mold changes and production sampling as needed to assist production.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of hands-on technical maintenance technician experience required
• Must be dependable, self-directed, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and Lock Out / Tag Out / Try Out are required.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting, installation and repair skills are required – PLC and Robotic Troubleshooting/Programming Skills are not required but are a plus
• Basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, divide
• Ability to read and interpret a variety of materials and insturctions
• Permanent contract to hire opportunity. Upon direct hire, a competitive benefit package is offered.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Pay Rate: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour based upon experience
