International Tier 1 automotive supplier is looking to add an experienced 3rd shift Team Lead to their team of Warehouse Logistics professionals in Stirling Heights, MI. If you have what it takes to lead a Team to accelerate our client's vision, we want you to join the team!
Team Lead Responsibilities:
- Guarantee proper inspection, material handling, and 100% on time delivery for finished product.
- Maintain safety and functional operation through proper supervision and management of personnel.
- Develop and maintain productive working relations with associates.
- Lead training sessions
- Coordinate shipments to customer in accordance with SOP
- Provide ideas for process and efficiency improvements
- Assign work and cover for staffing shortages
- Other duties as assigned
Team Lead Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficient in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Strong experience with people management, warehouse operations, logistics, and distribution center processes
- High school diploma or GED, post High school education highly preferred
- Knowledge of logistics, inventory control, storage, sequencing
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in inventory control
- Proficient with computers, MS Office, WMS
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors

3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am Monday (Sunday night) - Friday (Thursday night) and weekends as required
