Job Summary
As the Key Account Manager, you’ll lead omnichannel initiatives, manage relationships, and drive execution in one of the organization’s most strategic accounts. This role demands fact-based selling, data-driven decision-making, and strong collaboration with both internal teams and retail partners. You’ll oversee forecasting, promotional activities, and e-commerce strategies to grow sales and expand presence across the omnichannel customer ecosystem.

Responsibilities
- Own the account strategy: develop and execute sales plans that drive share growth and align with company priorities.
- Build fact-based selling stories using sales, market, and shopper data (Nielsen, Repsly, Retail Link).
- Strengthen customer relationships across various business units and develop omnichannel solutions.
- Lead retail merchandising plans; coach in-store teams on execution and performance metrics.
- Set up and maintain e-commerce content; monitor item health, pricing, and digital campaign ROI.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to execute brand launches, trade events, and promotional calendars.
- Forecast account performance and communicate risks/opportunities to the Regional Sales Manager.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Omnichannel Sales Growth: Targeted volume/revenue % increases.
- Forecast Accuracy: ≤10% variance on monthly outlooks.
- Promotion ROI: Alignment of execution with planned uplift goals.
- Retail Execution Score: % compliance with pricing, displays, and planograms.
- Digital Content Accuracy: % of item pages meeting compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5+ years of CPG sales experience with strong grocery retail knowledge.
- Experience with Retail Link, CRM tools, SAP, and Nielsen data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as required across territory
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
