Salary: $60,000-$75,000 a year

Process Technician

• A Plastics Manufacturer in Edinburgh is looking to add a Process Technician to their team!
• The company serves many industries including automotive, healthcare, lawn and garden and industrial.
• The Process Technician is responsible for start-up and processing of molding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment
• The Process Technician will oversee daily production schedules. 
• The Process Tech is responsible for maintaining production cycle, overseeing temperatures and timing per scientific molding processes.
• The Process Tech will also train and assist machine operators.
• In addition, the Process Technician will participate in sampling of new equipment, troubleshooting processes, performing mold setter and machine operator responsibilities, and more

Pay/Benefits:

• $60,000-$75,000 a year based on experience
• Health, dental, vision, 401k, and profit sharing offered (paid out 2x/year)
• Location is temperature-controlled

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 4:00pm-12:30am

Requirements:

• Ideally 10-15 years of experience in injection mold
• Work safe knowledge of equipment (crane movements, machine safeties, electricity, etc.)
• Understanding of fundamental injection molding processes going from pellet to part
• Basic understanding of machine/robot sequence programming
• Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation
• Basic understanding of mold tooling
• Understanding of water cooling and air supply system
