Packaging Associate | Mon - Fri | 9:00AM – 5:30PM | $16.00/hr

 

A consumer food production and packaging operation in Decatur, IL focused on cookies is looking for Packaging Associates.

 

Job Requirements for Packaging Associates

• Previous food grade manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Previous packaging equipment experience would be a plus
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions

• Able to complete mandatory food safety and general safety training

 

Job Responsibilities for Packaging Associates

• Mixing product
• Operating manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Packaging product
• Keep production lines supplied with packaging materials and ingredients
• Use pallet jacks
• Record and maintain production documentation
• Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures for cleaning and sanitation
