CNC Programmer/Machinist

Our client in Saline is looking for an CNC Programmer/Machinist to join their team.

What you’ll be doing as a CNC Programmer/Machinist

• Expertly utilize AutoCAD, MasterCAM, and Fusion 360 to design drawings and toolpaths for the setup, operation, and maintenance of 5-axis mills and various precision CNC turning/milling centers.

• Analyze complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and sample parts to calculate dimensions, determine tolerances, and execute the optimal sequence of machining operations.

• Ensure strict adherence to tight tolerances by verifying part dimensions using specialized instruments, including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators.

• Operate and maintain a suite of manual equipment—including band saws, surface grinders, and manual mills—while performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure equipment longevity.

What you’ll need to succeed as a CNC Programmer/Machinist

• 3 years of experience writing programs and programming 5 Axis Mills
• Experience using AutoCAD required
• Experience using MasterCAM and Fusion preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
