Welder/Fabricator - TIG

We are looking for 3 experienced TIG Welders to join our clients team!

Must have 2-3 years experience with TIG welding carbon steel and stainless steel as well as experience with MIG welding processes and various grinding and cutting tools. You must be able to read blueprints or technical schematics.

Duties

• Perform TIG welding on various metals, including sheet metal and pipe components, following detailed schematics and blueprints.
• Fabricate metal parts using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and ASME codes & standards to ensure accurate assembly and welding.
• Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to meet specifications.
• Assist in the assembly of fabricated components, ensuring proper fit-up and alignment.
• Operate rigging equipment such as cranes and forklifts safely during material handling.
• Conduct pipe threading, soldering, and ductwork fabrication for various mechanical systems.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimize workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in CUSTOM WELDS with a strong background in welding and fabrication.
• Proficiency in TIG welding with a solid understanding of TIG welding techniques; experience with MIG welding is also preferred.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, ASME codes & standards, and technical specifications.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, machining equipment, and rigging gear safely.
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to ductwork, pipe threading, assembly, and manufacturing processes.
