A company providing comprehensive rental solutions for construction sites, special events and government projects including temporary rent a fence, pedestrian barricades, porta potties, restroom trailers, portable storage containers, and temporary power is seeking a Yard Worker to join their team in Sun Valley.

 

Summary: The Yard Worker is responsible for maintaining fence, sanitation, and storage equipment in clean and proper working condition. This role ensures all equipment leaving the yard meets company quality standards. This is a hands-on, operational role.

 

Responsibilities

• Clean, repair, and properly roll and stack fencing materials in the yard.
• Clean, repair, and paint fencing, sanitation units, and storage equipment.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and servicing fence, sanitation, and storage vehicles.
• Operate yard equipment such as steam cleaners, forklifts, and air tools.
• Empty, clean, and prepare portable toilets for delivery.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area.
• Read and record inventory log sheets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Document all work performed each day.
• Immediately report any accidents or safety concerns.
• Perform additional duties or tasks as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Capable of performing basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and manuals.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed tasks and procedures.
• Comfortable working independently on task-oriented assignments when needed.
• Valid driver’s license with a motor vehicle record within company guidelines.
• Must be at least 21 years old due to potential operation of company vehicles.
• Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain).

DOT medical card required (or ability to obtain).
