Job Title: Entry-Level Warehouse Inventory Counter

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Warehouse Inventory Counter. The primary responsibility of this role is to accurately count and record inventory within our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inventory counts of products, materials, and supplies within the warehouse.
  • Utilize inventory management software or manual counting methods to ensure accurate tracking of inventory levels.
  • Verify inventory discrepancies and investigate reasons for discrepancies.
  • Communicate inventory findings to the warehouse supervisor or manager.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safe and efficient inventory counting.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet inventory control objectives and deadlines.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Occasionally lifting up to 30 lbs to rearrange boxes or palletize items.

  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory-related role is preferred but not required.
  • Basic math skills and the ability to accurately count and record inventory.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software or willingness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items as needed.
