CNC Machine Operator - 2nd shift

Located in Yalesville, CT

Salary: $20-23/hr

We are seeking a CNC Machine Operator - 2nd shift to join our team!

Location: Wallingford, CT

Pay rate: $20-23/hr

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:15 pm to 11:15 pm

Duties:

• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders, etc.)
• Load tooling, fixtures, and materials
• Monitor machining operations and make adjustments as required
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Maintain clean, organized work stations and adhere to safety procedures
• Record production data and quality checks
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting

 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience as a CNC Machine Operator or machinist preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machining specifications
• Familiarity with G‐code, M‐code, and CNC programming basics is a plus
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators)
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem‐solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
